1. The software

PineTodo is a desktop task-planning application for Windows, provided free of charge. By downloading, installing or using it, you agree to these terms.

2. Licence

You are granted a free, non-exclusive licence to install and use PineTodo on any number of computers you control, for personal or commercial purposes. You may not sell the software as your own product, or distribute modified builds that claim to be official PineTodo releases.

3. Your data

Your tasks are stored locally on your device and remain yours. You are responsible for keeping backups; the export feature in Settings exists for that purpose. Uninstalling the app or resetting its data is irreversible.

4. No warranty

PineTodo is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. You use it at your own risk.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the authors are not liable for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the software — including lost data, missed deadlines or lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

6. Reminders are not guarantees

Reminders depend on your computer being switched on, awake and running the app, and on Windows notification settings. Do not rely on PineTodo as the only safeguard for critical or time-sensitive obligations.

7. Availability and changes

The software may be updated, changed or discontinued at any time. Existing installations continue to work; they are not remotely disabled.

8. Trademarks

PineTodo is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or certified by Microsoft Corporation or Google LLC. Windows is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation. Other names are the property of their respective owners.

9. Feedback

If you send a message through the feedback page, you allow us to read it and use it to improve PineTodo. Do not put passwords or other personal data in it. How feedback is stored is described in the privacy policy.
